Samer Bechara: Hello. This is Samer Bechara, The Thought Engineer.
Today I want to talk to you about the top three reasons to systematize your business. First of all, if you create a system for your business, you should be able to automate and delegate your tasks. In other words, when you have exact steps on how to do each task, you will be able to see which steps of that particular task you could automate and which of those parts you could delegate. In other words, you will have more time to focus on sales and marketing.
How would this work? Think about the things you do on a daily basis, for example, maybe checking your email, following up with employees, and so on. Then, while doing this task, document the exact procedure, step by step. Once you have that done, delegate this task to someone or automate it if this is possible. Then follow up with them, if they have any other questions. If there’s something they don’t understand, add it to this step by step procedure.
Why is this important? Let’s say you had an employee and you trained him for a lot of time and then he wanted to leave, if you have this process in place anyone could take over easily and get things done.
Most importantly you will be able to focus on sales and marketing tasks that bring you new clients instead of focusing on doing the internal work that sounds like working but really which is not helping you grow your business.
I hope this helps. Have a great day.
